he won't. It'll go to Ingram b/c 'bama has never had a Heiseman winner. he's the best player on the offense of the best team. that's what the Heiseman has become. it's not the best player. it's the best on the best, sadly. Suh should win. i'll bet right now that he is picked higher in the draft than the "winner".
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

Ingram will win. I'd like to see Colt win, but he sealed his own fate with a horrible performance last week. Would also be good to see Gerhart win it.

Suh played huge on a HUGE stage last week, but I don't think he has the overall recognition as he doesn't play a sexy position.

I don't want Tebow to win. Mainly because it makes me smile when he cries.

I sort of hope it goes to ingram. I usually dont think the heisman winner is the best player in college football and this year will probably be no different. Suh should not win, however.

I think that the "this is not a career award" argument is bunk their year considering no one has distinguished themselves

one of these players is not like the other in that respect

after having lunch with an ex aggie player, I have come to the conclusion that ingram will win it... he is the reason they are 12-0. Colt is the reason they are 12-0. But last weekend Colt had a chance to close the door on ingram after the aTm game, but he failed... miserably. Yes texas won. And had all of the votes been casted prior to the SEC and Big XII championship games, it was in Colts pocket. But too many voters still had outstanding votes (90%)... here are some quotes
Kirk Bohls, of the Austin American-Statesman, noted before those games that the Trust told him that 10% of all votes had been turned in early. He tweeted:

Just blogged at Statesman.com that about 10 percent of the 926 accredited Heisman voters have already turned in their ballots. Help Colt?
Given the disastrous game McCoy had (0 TDs, 3 INTs), it's likely that those 10% of ballots had him higher ranked than the subsequent 90%.

And sure enough, at least one voter regrets voting early.

Doug Krikorian of the Long Beach Press Telegram announced his vote on November 30:

Just cast my Heisman Trophy ballot, and voted for Texas' Colt McCoy, Florida's Tim Tebow and Stanford's Toby Gerhart, in that order.
But in retrospect:

After watching Colt McCoy's lame performance against the Cornhuskers, I now regret casting my Heisman Trophy vote for him.

While I am rooting for Colt, this is not a lifetime achievement award. No UT fan can honestly say that Colt had the kind of season they all had hoped for

I think Gerhart deserves it. He has ridiculous numbers for a running back, and was able to do it without the top-notch supporting cast that Ingram has. He has 26 TDs and carried Stanford on his back all year long. I'm going to throw up if McCoy wins it. You can't win the most prestigious award in football with the stinker of a game he put up against Nebraska

We shouldn't be discussing the Heisman on this board because it has nothing to do with SMU. Take your discussion to the UT or Alabama boards.

are you going to sit there and tell me that you have never discussed a college football on this board that does not have something explicitly to do with SMU?

u'd better cover your tracks well because I don't believe you for a second.
