This guy is a serious recruit folks. His senior highlights are great.
Stallion is it me or does he look considerable faster now than junior highlights and the junior highlights are equally impressive.

He looks a little faster. He looked good in Junior Highlites but he was shooting past guys as a Senior. I'm always a little cautious with recruits who allegedly are great 400M and 200M guys in track because sometimes they don't have sprinters speed for football but Fields looks very fast for a big guy.

HUGE!!!!!!...the coaches obviously knew something and maybe something was conveyed to Fields about that possibilty.......ya think? Glad to have him and sounds like from the other paid boards that his commitment to SMU is helping us with other possible recruits...

i was fortunate enough to play with a RB in HS who has a similar running style to fields (big, strong, good speed). his initial burst was not great but when he got to the second level of defenders he had a different gear (led to a very succesful career in college and the nfl). while i enjoyed watching mcneal, this type of back can really wear down a defense... and considering defenses will be thinking pass first, his north/south style will bode well
