Aloha Peruna - Update

It is official. Peruna WILL BE GOING to Hawaii. Fedex did cancel the livestock shipments out of Dallas. So Peruna will be trucked to Los Angeles, spend the night, and then be flown to Hawaii. The rancher who takes care of Peruna will be going to make sure that our TOP TEN MASCOT is handled with care. Peruna's vet checked him out and said that Peruna could make the trip.

so what's tougher on Peruna, a truck ride or a plane ride? If it's the former, I'd have thought they'd truck Peruna to the FedEx hub in Memphis and flown from there. He could've hung out the CUSA mascot lounge too, since that's a CUSA town.

Is there any kind of word on the details of his journey? There are a lot of current students, parents and alumni from the Orange County/ Newport/ LA area. Maybe the little guy and his handlers could use a send off/ warm-up luau.
