I would guess that it would be a non-Texas school since the school would be part of the Big 12 North. I'm surprised that Missouri would be publicly interested in the conference switch. Separate statements issued less than one hour apart on Tuesday expressed a will by the Big Ten Conference to expand its membership and a way that Missouri would be willing to be considered in that expansion.
Missouri officials have expressed dissatisfaction with the Big 12 Conference bowl selection process, a process that has undercut the accomplishments of the MU football team in each of the last three seasons.
On Monday, on the Campus Corner blog, The Star detailed the possibility and possible willingness of Missouri to explore a move to the Big Ten if approached by officials of that conference. http://www.kansascity.com/news/breaking_news/story/1632957.html

Arkansas or a school that would fit in with the North. Definitely not "another" Texas school. That was probably the biggest problem of the the old SWC - too many schools in one state. I can't see any additional Texas school going to the Little 12. If I was with the 12, I wouldn't go that route either. We have to make it work where we are now & be READY for the next shift or coup in the bcs-BS

they wouldn't. SEC remains same. it's about as perfect a conference as you can get, if there is such a thing, IMO.

Recruiting, travel, their lack of success in the SEC. It would come down to money in the end, of course, so they probably don't leave. But I have heard the state is kind of split on whether to stay in the SEC if a Big 12 space opened. Just saying they would get the first offer from the Big 12, not that they would definitely take it.

I don't think Arkansas will accept -at the very least you would have to offer Big 12 South slot(not going to happen) but you know I could see them being much more competitive in the Big 12 North.

Being in the SEC is a license to print money. Have you seen the unbelievable TV deal they recently struck. Arkansas would be insane to leave the SEC. I really don't see that happening.

I agree. Says a lot about the Big 12, too. LOL!!! I could see the Razorbacks possibly returning to their glory years of the 60's & 70's with that move. Because it wouldn't happen in the SEC (Satan's Evil Conference) for sure.

After talking with my Razorback friend, their self inflated ego will not allow them to leave the SEC. They truly think they are a power in the conference...

Look for it to be a team from the Big East as the Big Ten desperately wants to move into the NY market. Think Rutgers, Syracuse or Pitt. Also Missouri or Iowa State would be much more likely than Ark.
