I am disappointed in the Mustang Club and specifically, Kara Maiella. I wrote her right after the bowl announcement and asked about events. She told me the Mustang Club was handling the tailgate and she would reserve me a spot and then let me know when the final plans were made. She never did. I got the email blast from Anthony Travel about the tailgate last Wednesday, but it made no mention of the Mustang Club. I learned from posts on Pony Fans that this was the Mustang Club solution. Due to work I was unable to call until yesterday morning and was told they are sold out. I sent her and email yesterday, but she has not responded. I feel that Ms Maiella and the Mustang Club have let me and others like me down by not communicating their decision and making sure Anthony had tickets for us.

I don't dispute how hard the Mustang Club staff work, but they dropped the ball this time. I have been a member of the Mustang Club for several years and have not had a problem with them nor have had occasion to criticize them at all, until now. What peeves me is that I relied on them to my detriment. Hopefully they or someone at SMU will be able to help me get tickets to the Tailgate. Otherwise, the only event I will be able to attend is the Happy Hour on Wednesday.

In the spirit of capitalism I could auction mine off to the highest bidder. Shall we say $200.00 and I will apply it to an open bar tab again.

Yes - we need an official unofficial non-official tailgate party.

RSVP - me, my brother, Bus. Who else is in?

How about we all meet at the Sheraton bar...down a few, have our own tailgate and then head over to Aloha Stadium in time for kickoff.
