Taxi on Thursday was $34. Probably can put at least 4 in taxi. The ride is metered so could be a little more in heavy traffic. We had moderate traffic. Shuttle could take awhile with all the hotels in Waikiki.

Froggie, how long does it take on the Bus to go from Waikiki to the North Shore (Pipeline area)?

The Bus
to the North Shore. take the 8, 19, 20 or 42 to Ala Moana Shopping Center from Waikiki, there is a bus hub at the Shopping center. Take the circle island bus, it takes 1 1/2 hour trip to the North Shore, cost is $2.25 with one transfer but there is a time limit on disembarking and re-entering of 2 hours. You'll use the transfer token when you switch bus at Ala Moana from Waikiki.

The Bus (808) 848 5555 bus route and schedule information. Also, best to go to thebus.org on the computer. bus runs every 30 minutes to the north shore. you can view the schedule on line and also a map of the route. good luck.

most hotels have shuttles to the hotel.

Use the route Ralph suggested...unfortunately it'll take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours depending on what time of day you go...but well worth it!
