Re: Which game convinced you this thing had turned around?UAB on the road was great, but I'd have to say ECU. Really felt it when Padron came in for the injured BLM. I knew Kyle would be special. The OL has got to protect him!!!

This. Of any team on the schedule, I thought they'd roll us, just based on system and discipline. Even in the loss, I came away very impressed. “When I first committed to SMU, I thought it would take a couple of years of building. But with these players coming in, we should make a run. We have a lot of heavy hitters. It could get real ugly for a lot of teams we play.â€- Jalen Jones
Re: Which game convinced you this thing had turned around?Definitely the win over UConn (Miracle on Mockingbird). Seemed like it at the time.
Its just been a really long turn. The blinker signal finally went off when we landed in Hawaii.
Re: Which game convinced you this thing had turned around? The ECU game. On paper, at almost every positional matchup, that team appeared bigger and better than us, yet we still won. Nice that one of our big wins was against the conference champs.
Re: Which game convinced you this thing had turned around? The win over Tulsa wholeheartedly convinced me this thing had turned around. They way the players came out and dominated Tulsa on their own field left me breathless. Padron especially was impressive considering it was his 1st start as a true freshman.

Re: Which game convinced you this thing had turned around?Tulsa, when I decided Padron was the real deal.

A "It’s hard to overstate how impressive SMU has been on the recruiting trail since the ACC announced the Mustangs would be joining the league”
