SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

This is awesome watching how fired up Temple and its fans are. Looks like you can drink at this stadium. Saw lots of beers up in the air

Maybe we need a game on the schedule with Temple soon...'Temple Tough' against 'All Grit and No Quit'....the Have Not Bowl...

I wouldn't want temple, they're a small MAC school thats pretty damn good and well coached, I don't see much upside in scheduling that game. Also I'm the son of UCLA alumni, so I probably wont be posting in this thread much longer : (

Damn! You beat me to it! I was thinking the same thing! Two programs that appeared to be 'dead' that are now 'on the rise'. Maybe we could get Bill Cosby to toss the coin for pre-game. ;)
