I defy anyone who saw Peruna head out first....leading the team, if you will, for all the Peruna apologists....followed by the team, which ran out WITH the big fellas...to say that didnt look kick [deleted]

And I'll admit to thinking this thread was going to suggest drinking a beer or six, and I opened it up fully expecting to type "well hell yes"

Do the cowboys get a beer?

FYI - I have yet to see an SMU logo with a rider on top of the Mustang, but whatever.

No rider on this one.

The 2 mustangs are okay but Jim Bob/Willy Joe need to go. We are not the SMU Cowboys. It looks silly having the mustangs ridden.

There is nothing Kick [deleted] about having these guys riding these horses onto the field as they tip their cowboy hats to the team.

Bill had I known that you would post such controversial and disturbing graphic images with the technology I imparted to you, I'm not sure I would have assisted.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

When did Peruna get the Hawaiian shirt? That was a pretty good touch. Did he try and eat the lei?
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

It was a great colorful image and brand building of SMU with the'Best dressed band', the SMU cheerleaders. Peruna (and the Peruna Mascot on the sideline) and the Mustangs all over the field in Hawaii .(Nevada was boring).....but at the risk of opening controversy..it waaaas a bit confusing with all the horses. It will be interesting to see what happens as we have to wonder..... can all the horses co-exist?
