If Hawaii had kept JJ happy, he would not be in Dallas. He also will not leave Dallas if SMU keeps him happy. At his stage in life, why would he leave?

Maybe Tech can just arrange a trade with ECU. Skip to Lubbock, Leach to the Pirates.
