Actually, I went to one a very long time ago. The paintings are mass produced via machines, then they have people splash a little paint here and there to give it texture / make it look more original.

The funniest part, I specifically remembered a painting of the ocean. While watching the Jeffersons on TV, they have the exact same painting hanging over a desk in their front room. See it on every episode.
