I'm questioning this guys heart. He played 3 minutes in the first half, jogged & loafed around. Coach pulled him & sat him out the rest of the half. He starts the 2nd half & does the same damn thing. Plays 2 minutes, loafs around & gets pulled for the final 18 minutes. Looked like he could care less. Finished with an 3 pts. 1 for 3 shooting & just a really sad performance.
After the CCCC game, return to my car & start listening to another uninspired road L by the Ponies.
What a day for men's hoops.
Several possible explanations. Could be sick/hurt? Was it the kind of game/crowd/atmosphere that was tough to get up for? Or...could be he's practicing to become a Mustang

scroll down to the Ira Terrell take thread and check those pics against Army. Doesn't look like a team that has tuned their coach out. I don't think that's the case. He's just not getting the most out of the talent he has.

Pats is plenty skilled. He's already signed and has shown what he can do. There was also some talk of him being a grey shirt type, and being on the Hilltop in the next few weeks. He was qualified when he showed at CCCC, so I doubt he's real motivated to play JUCO ball.

Great players are always motivated...whether a game of horse or NBA Championship... Not an encouraging statement

The JUCO ball he is to play now at CCCC is alot more competitive and with better players then the players/games we saw him play in the youtube clips (still looks like pickup ball) and he was showing off for those and looked plenty motivated. I don't buy that. Papawasamustang said he wasn't sick, so something must be up with Pats and the coach maybe....not good, as if he has a problem there wait until he deals with a lame duck Doh.

19-3, that is such a joke to start the game.
DW - 29 pts. Where would we be w/out Derek this yr? Only one who mans up to play every game. Does Dia's light seem to be coming on at least?

It just looks like McCoy doesn't want to play much anymore.

actually, I thought McCoy's 2nd half play was encouraging. Maybe he can turn it back on for CUSA play?

that's the biggest farce in sport. Great players are great players. Think Lebron went hard in AAU all the time? What about Melo in high school? Some kids are bored and caught looking forward. Here is what I know, CCCC staff isn't upset w/Pats, only Papa

How many Championships do those guys have?? My biggest knock on lebron is that he isn't a killer and is content with his life...unlike a certain assasin here in chicago in the 90s
