Actually we took Nevada out behind the woodshed and spanked them. Interestingly enough Boise beat them 44 to 33 at Boise...hmmmmm 8)
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Yes, but you know the excuses the defenders of Nevada (and the WAC) will be quick to trot out.

Chris Ault didn't make any excuses after the game. Just said basically that they got a beatdown.

JJ has now won his last *16* games against WAC teams. 8-0 in conference in 2007. Won the final 7 games in conference in 2006. The last game that JJ lost against a WAC team (17 games ago) was at Boise State by a TD--team lost 2 fumbles, had an INT, and missed a FG and 2 extra points due to bad snaps and lost by just a TD on that $%^# blue turf.

Maybe we should schedule more WAC teams in the future?
