Indoor Practice Facility

Postby SMU 86 » Thu Jan 07, 2010 7:01 pm

Louisville built theirs 3 or 4 year ago and it cost 8 mil. Good looking structure.

120 yard long indoor football field. 90,068 square feet total. Alright Couchem, where could we put it?

If UP says no bubble, we'll probably see something like this one:

We do not play any games in domes so it is incumbent for any team to practice in the elements and toughen up for what might be actual game conditions. The R & S must be run in conditions such as Navy last year and in the 10 degree temperatures we might have experienced in the Liberty Bowl this year.

The UT facility in the pic above is located on land that is currently houses, I believe owned by SMU. It is not land that will be used for the Bush Library.

That's where new residence housing is going right after the Bush library is built.

Is it the same square footage as the Louisville IPF?

They both look a lot stronger than that pup tent the Cowboys had.
