Billy G Update

Billy Clyde will be named the new HC of the SMU Mustangs and he will bring in at least two high major transfers with him. Its already a done deal.

Welcome to PonyFans Clyde.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

Looking forward to being a new pony supporter. SMU basketball will no longer be a doormat after this season. Mark my words...Major Changes are in the future for SMU Men's Basketball.

what an abysmal hire that would be. Replace a hard [deleted], that owns the 2nd largest flame out at a high major, for a hard [deleted], that's morally bankrupt in far more ways then liquor and ladies, who owns the 1st largest flame out at a high major. He'll need a slush fund

I have no problem w/searching for a new coaching candidate, at seasons end, or sooner should Orsini bring the ax mid-season. I have a major issue w/downgrading the integrity of the university though

Probably needs to start over @ the jc level. Show that he can
stay clean, win & maybe that will be enough to open
up some D1's eyes down the road.

Well since first posters are about 50/50 in being accurate I guess we will have to wait and see.

Why hire Billy G. when we can get Dave Bliss cheaper.
