I agree — I also wish Joey a full recovery, and hope he makes it back to play again one day.

So far since Scout and Rivals have had their sites up, I haven't subscribed and don't believe I'm really missing too much anyway.

Besides, this stuff comes out sooner or later so I'll just stick with the later part, get that for free, and you guys use your money how you see fit.

Why refuse? $9 is the price of one lunch/month - skip one lunch and you'll pay for the membership. It's a LOT more information than what you portend...it's what these guys are thinking about SMU, who we're competing against, how wide a net we're casting, where we're recruiting, interviews with prospects, our coaches, their coaches and yes, some analysis of practice and games. That all being said, the paid services don't replace our one and only ponyfans, they just complement it. The more subscribers to the other services, the better the information. It's like reading the Dallas Morning News' coverage of the Longhorns, except they're covering your team.

Wait, so is he leaving or what? I know he has a serious injury, but is he playing football again in the future, transferring, etc?

let's just say he currently has obvious serious mobility issues, which would make it difficult for him to go to class this spring. As to his future, well you need to read the interview. :)

You either think the service is worth the money or not. If not, fine. Don't trash the service or those that do subscribe and then beg for the information.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

has anybody ever signed up Rivals and not thought it was worth the money?-especially in comparison to say the amount you would play for another media source like the DMN. Rivals or even Scout always seem to have the story first.

i am a recent subscriber (5 months in) to Rivals and feel it is worth every penny...I love people trashing the site and then asking us for the info...give me a break you cheap arses. You read a headline and then get all worked up (yes, i'm talking to you general...Fontana is NOT bailing on the team as you implied in your post) and post your guess as to what it is and hope we will give you the scoop. It's 9 freaking dollars a month.

If you feel it is not worth the $, that is your choice. But don't look at the headlines, get all worked up and then bash the people who pay for the info you are seeking.

Just my $.02

I recently joined PonyPride...I'll admit, its hard knowing exactly what you should or shouldn't talk about on these non-pay sites. I love the community here on this site, but its frustrating when people start rumor filled posts that would be so easy to clear up if everyone just had rivals accounts.

I think it definitely is worth the money though, Armen is usually on top of everything, theres just obviously not the same sense of community on the premium boards.
