More Daily Campus brilliance

Postby SMUguy » Wed Jan 20, 2010 12:12 pm

This is impressive. A write-up about the women's basketball team's victory Sunday over Tulane, and it has one quote — from the TULANE COACH taken from the Tulane website.

Why does the Daily Campus not attend games? The Mustangs are 13-4. I know, school was technically still on break, but students were coming back this week — surely the DC could have found someone who was in town Sunday afternoon. The Cowboys game could have been recorded.

Women's basketball is one of the best teams on campus. Have the paper covered any games in person? You'd think a 13-4 start would merit talking to Coach Rompola and players at the game.

So if the students are out on break, but the reporter has the time to read the Tulane web site, does that mean there's no time left to pick up a phone and call our own coaches?

Are our coaches willing to take calls from anyone other than Fox Southwest anymore?
