SMU's big differenceCan someone answer this question for me? When UT had stuff go down with Tom Penders, players & grades De-Loss had to do something about it or hear from the powerful alumni & boosters. Same with Mackovic. When Gerry DiNardo was stinking it up with mediocrity at LSU, the all-powerful TAF (Tiger Athletic Foundation) had something to say, and the AD responded. This goes on and on. My question is: Where's SMU's powerful & influential alumni & boosters? Does Copeland have no accountability to them (us?) Has anyone EVER seen an article suggesting the AD has said such and such as pressure from alumni mounts? Frank Broyles, Vince Dooley, Skip Bertman, DeLoss Dodds, Mr. Copeland...which one of these kids is doing his own thing?
Re: SMU's big differenceThat power was significantly neutered after the death penalty and the disqualification of a number of boosters from the program.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

Re: SMU's big differenceeverybody knows exactly what the problems are but they are being quiet and instead just passing the blame on to the coaches. sssshhhh! Really this guy pointed out the biggest problem of all-the fact that boosters and alumni have sat on their [deleted] and not vocally demanded change in Athletic Model.
