Re: Ladies v. ECUBG was really solid. Severin was all over the place on defense and on the boards. Manesmith is becoming a solid option on 3s. Christine Elliott tore it up inside, especially in the first half.

Re: Ladies v. ECUTechnically, we are behind UAB as they beat us head to head.
These will be two tough games in Houston this weekend. Wish I could make it down there.
Re: Ladies v. ECU
Actually, our current RPI (31) would place us 5th in the ACC, not bad in a conference that has 5 teams ranked in the Top-25 (Georgia Tech is ranked in the AP poll, but behind us in the RPI). We beat Virginia Tech last year, and played a very good game with Boston College this year, without Delisha Wills. Our last win in the NCAA tournament was against NC State. We had an ugly loss to Duke 3 years ago, but they were #2 in the country at that time, and beating everyone by big margins. We've played the ACC, and been competitive with them. The ACC is one of the strongest conferences i basketball, but we're capable of playing with those teams. Trivia: Boston College senior Ayla Brown hit two free throws at the end of our game that gave BC a 69-68 win. Brown is a bit of a minor celebrity, having once been a semi-finalist on American Idol. But she has to take a back seat now to her father, Scott Brown, who shocked the political world with his stunning upset victory in the race for Massachusetts vacant Senate seat last week. During his acceptance speech, Brown mentioned that Ayla was "available", and looking for a husband. She's on the left in this picture. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/01/2 ... 30291.html
