Thomas Morstead and the NFC Championship Game

Postby George S. Patton » Sun Jan 24, 2010 9:08 pm

He's averaging about 50 a punt inhis first 5 and his kickoffs look great. Good for him.

looks like he has the potential to be a good one for a long time in this league. Meanwhile, I keep waiting for Favre to throw that clutch INT his career has been marked by, but so far the defenders are managing to drop balls that hit them in the gut or his WRs are making great plays on balls thrown into coverage. good game that looks like it will go down to the wire.

Now I don't feel so bad that he played for some terrible SMU teams and never won much.

TM to the Superbowl!

Helps to have a clutch kicker out there to win close games. Those dumb questions .."what does it feel like....walk me through what you were thinking...ugh"

Favre loses another one for the team. Keep the ball and go about another 10 yards - great field position for a FG to win the game. Some of his throws just make no sense his entire career.
Please tell me he's done for good!

Such is the life of a Vikings fan. Arrrrggghhh. But you get what you deserve when you turn it over 5 times, twice in the Red Zone. Now, it's time to let the Favre legacy go and move on to a new QB.

Still, a great story for the Saints and the city of New Orleans. Should be a great storyline with New Orleans going against New Orleans boy Peyton Manning and Indianapolis.

As it turned out, the top two teams in the NFL will be playing for it all.

Morestead was ridiculous today, he boomed punts all game long. Hope he gets a ring in Miami.

Well, get ready for Farve's annual retirement circus and tearful goodbyes to begin. Will he, or won't he ??
