Raymond Berry coached New England against Chicago in the 1986 Super Bowl. Was Wes Hopkins with Philadelphia in Super Bowl 15 against Oakland or was that before him?

Michael Carter had to be with those great 1980s 49er teams.

Unrelated, Doak Walker won a couple of NFL championships with Detroit in the 1950s.

Craig James was on that New England team with Berry.

Why TM's kicking was a big influence on the game. He had a 51 yard avg on punts which means the Viking never started with good field position and I do not think they got a run back on ony of his kickoff's.

There was a huge disparity in return yards in the NFC title game. I believe the Vikes had only 33 yards total of returns, punts and kick-offs(thanks to TM), while the Saints had 180 or so. Factor that into the equation, and it explains, in part, why the Saints won. The Saints fans have finally acknowledged Morstead has being an excellent, not merely good, pick.
