For the good recs on food in Dallas...and an exciting, if sloppy, football game.
We had excellent food at Mia's. The BBQ at Peggy Sue's wasn't bad...we were lazy and didn't head to the more popular suggestions you made. The only real disappointment in food was in the football stadium! Uninspired grub! Tried the hot links...overpriced not too good. Overall, the stadium is a great place to watch a game.
Good luck with the rest of the season.
Thanks, Pony Fans...

Yeah, food this year sucks.
Where did Sunny Bryan's go? Life was good slurping down a chopped BBQ sandwich and watching the ponies.

Well...we wanted to give Sonny's a try...but figured we would walk around the SMU area. We ended up having a couple of beers...watching a chunk of the Texas/OU game on the tube and downing a few oysters at the Half Shell. Inertia got to us, and we walked down the street to Peggy Sue's...Next time, Sonny Brian's!

PerunaPunch was alluding to the fact that last year, you could get Sonny Bryan's BBQ sandwiches in Ford Stadium itself at one of the concession stands. Hopefully next time you come back they will be back in the stadium....definitely better than hotdogs and nachos.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

That is, if we still have a football program!
