Marshall's end of the season's problems due not having IPF

There is one thing that is out of Doc's control that will end up making our road to CUSA championships a struggle and that is an indoor practice facility. Almost every team in our conference has one and almost every team in the country, especially those that matter in the North have one. If you noticed we always seem to lose close games and struggle down the stretch. Always the last 4 games. The reason is we don't get the quality practice times and reps that those other schools do because of weather. Just look at what we practiced in prior to the bowl came. And here is why it is out of Doc's control. President Kopp is calling the shots on this one. The money has been donated 2 or 3 times in the last 6 or 7 years to build this thing. Pruett knew we needed it and was pushing hard for one and Snyder was promised one. However Kopp put the breaks on it all three times. He was in and artivle the H-D I believe where he was quoted as saying that he did not see the necessity in building one. That we don't need it to improve. And when asked how his boosters and donors felt after the money they donated specifically for that purpose were not getting what they were giving for he simply had this to say, "I am the president here and this is my university so I will spend the money where I see fit and they need to understand that." You see people he is also one of the reasons donations are not pouring in. He does not care about athletics, he wants an academic university. Which is why we are all at Marshall in the first place. What he fails to understand is that a big chunk of a university's income is from athletics. Take the IVY League out of the equation and look at all your big time Academic Schools. They all have very successful men's athletics. So until this is done be prepared to see some struggles going down the stretch. And please do not blame Doc. This is all on Kopp. Hopefully Hamrick will be the "bull" he has been billed to be.

I could be wrong but the weather up their to my understanding is worse than here during those times. But we too need an IPF.
