Though SMU’s students rushed the court after their team’s victory, C-USA does not have an automatic fine, as there is in the SEC. Because the students were held back until the Memphis players and coaches cleared the court, C-USA officials in attendance alerted SMU that the school was compliant with league policy.

Maybe I was in a daze for a few minutes because we won, but I thought the bleachers cleared almost immediately.
