And with his degree from froggie high he can get into the masters program at unt for 'advanced hamburger spanking at McD's' with no problem. His future really has big arches to it. :P

LHP - This is my favorite line in this entire thread, by the way. God how I hate TCU.

I also loved how their losing the Fiesta Bowl made pre-game statements like "TCU doesn't have anything to prove against Boise State" seem like a punch line now.

If the kid wants to go elsewhere, let him. We're going to put together a great class regardless.

Too bad for him that he'll be missing out on the SMU experience and education, but aside from being in Fort Worth :D , I'm sure TCU is also a fun school.

Good luck to him and hopefully this may open up an opportunity for another kid who really wants to be here.

No one is berating the kid as he really wanted to be a frog all the time. He just got 'buyers remorse'....it happens. We just had to berate the frog poster who came on here to rub it in....

I hear you, ponyscott. Based on his username alone, I'm sure purple wimple's a real winner and I have no issues with berating him.

I enjoy the smack talk and it's fun to hate the frogs!

not quite as fun as beating the Frogs-only revenge worth having

Very true.  Obviously we can't say too much in that respect recently, but the tide seems to be turning a little bit.

Not predicting anything yet and no doubt they have a really good team, but we should at least be more competitive over the next couple years.  Beats expecting a loss and just hoping that we could keep things respectable.

It may have been 4 years ago, but I still gloat over our last win just because of the timing of it.

We'll beat the frogs again about the same time we beat Memphis in basketball.

Corp, get lost. Your brand of trash talk wreaks of low intelligence. Come back when you have something of value to add.

Oh c'mon, THIS year at home will be fun and competitive and we could ( and should because we are at home) win. Next year 2011 will be a big one as both should be ranked at the time we play.

Sorry, I was not trying to flame. While next year I expect SMU to be improved I also expect TCU to be improved as we are returning 95% of our starters. Meanwhile in 2011 we will be replacing our QB as well as many other starters while in 2011 I expect SMU to be even better than their upcoming 2010 team. While this year you are predicting a fun and competitive game in 2011 you may be predicting a victory. I also meant that I expect the series to become competitive in a few years, not just a game. I would love to see SMU-TCU be a battle of top 25 teams.
