Re: Two new Louisiana signees
How do these guys stack up in the area of other offers? Wish that lineman was 6-3
Re: Two new Louisiana signees
Sutton had offers from Louisiana-Monroe and Southern. Theard didn't have any listed offers.

Re: Two new Louisiana signees
Apparently that school has an unbelievable junior class, loaded with top-tier prospects. Considering how late these guys were added, I wonder how much of the interest in them was due to their higher-profile teammates for next year's recruiting class.

Re: Two new Louisiana signees
I have looked hard and can not find the New Orleans All-Metro teams they both reportedly made. Loved to see some confirmation and perhaps some commentary on that

Need to access the Times-Picayune archive for full list of All-District team.
Here's an article from last season featuring both Sutton and Theard...

EDIT: Oh, and I would cut and paste the whole article for you, but I know how strongly you are in favor of paying for information and would not want me to do that.

Re: Two new Louisiana signees
So what your saying is that they made the All District team published under the actual All-Metro Team?
Yeah I found that article where Derice Sutton had a 78 yard Inteption Reurn and a fumble recovery. His other big game was in the Playoffs when he made 2 Interceptions including the game winner with 1:08 left

It's in the article...just get a subscription.
Just kidding. They made both teams. All-Metro and All-District. This is the All-District team list. Sorry for the confusion.
Oh, and yes, it appears the article starts with the Metro area, which means Metro-New Orleans. So, it is the All-District team beginning with the Metro Area. Hope that makes sense.

Re: Two new Louisiana signees
One or both of these guys could be here in the fall but will probably go the juco route. Nice to begin stashing a core of juco's who we have shown love for in the past at good area schools.
Think Beck Coulter.

Anyone know how he fared in that USA vs. World Exhibition?
