Chances of seeing Ricky Collins??

I'll admit that before the Mustang Club event the other night I didn't know much about Ricky Collins. But after seeing his route running and breakaway speed I was really impressed and excited.

Now the news that even though he did sign a letter of intent with SMU on Wednesday, now he is signing with Kilgore JC.

Any thoughts on what is going to happen here? Is Ricky not part of our 26 now? Or is he just going to Kilgore for summer classes?

I'd hate to lose him less than 24 hours after we got him.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

I think academics are an issue for him. Not sure what the chances are that he makes it- but that is the concern

Surely you are right on top of this and know all the facts and details as a subscriber??? Perhaps you should up your subscription to the super premium level where they give you the recruits' phone numbers??

Is this a 'core' HS classes issue or the fact that he took the SAT/ACT so late? If he takes the test another time or takes the ACT in addition to the SAT and passes before August classes begin, would he then be eligible?

I read somewhere that kids can sign their LOI as well as enroll in a JUCO just in case they don't qualify. I can't speak to what his specific issue is or whether a higher test score would qualify him, though. But if he's taking the test again, I would have to assume he might still make it here.
