d_pony, I hate to tell you that your argument functions better as evidence that the world has moved into a post-industrial age than as evidence that global warming is real. For that, only a few types of evidence function well: global climate information, sea level changes, etc.

I have heard some good arguments on both sides of the debate. However, what you just said is not one of them. So if Obama hadn't gone to the conference, which were his plans right up until a week before the conference, then according to your logic global warming isn't happening. I know this is stretching what you said a little, but really. Just because these guys/gals wanted to take a mini vacation on our dime, then global warming is true.
Read this a little while ago. Take it for what its worth. However, a lot of what is said comes from the mouth of global warming believer.

Cap and trade and the trillions that could be made manipulating the market is another good reason they went Copenhagen (the proud home of the highest taxes in the world)

Actually Stallion usually ignores my posts. I think his comments, even though posted after mine, were aimed at ALEX LIFESON for throwing out the term "narcissistic".

here to date when global warming has been discussed it has been at a ministerial level - this time it was by the world leaders which indicates they are taking it seriously (whether you are or not)
