Let me know, when Nascars make a right turn, or when coaches say "we did a poor job".

SMU head coach Phil Bennett told press afterwards. "I'm disappointed we didn't coach better."

You are missing the point altogether.

the key to getting a solid program is to put together 3 or 4 good recruiting classes in a row and not just one

let's hope that what Jones said is true and that some of these guys have an immediate impact and some go on to all-CUSA careers. Certainly looks like he's brought in some guys with that potential.
At least he was cautious enough to say "in a long time" which of course is all relative. Since Bennett was hired? Since our SWC years? Or pre-DP years?

Calallenstang- sorry but don't believe 'the Glen' is a NASCAR track. Great for sports cars and F1.

GO PONIES!!!

Look again, The Glen has hosted NASCAR races for over 20 years now. In fact, they are making some changes to the track specifically asked for by NASCAR. http://nascar.speedtv.com/article/cup-w ... isk-areas/

I believe he meant best class since the DP since he said 25 years on a radio interview.

The best way to judge a class is in about three or four years later. I think we've got some athletes with great speed and size. I think some will contribute next year but few will be in leading roles. I hope they work in weight room and grow to be all they can be and then we'll see a bright future! Go Mustangs!

I read the article awhile back but I think he was saying it's the best class that HE'S ever gotten
