It happens, can't fault the team for losing this game. Just because we started off the season poorly doesn't mean you're going to be perfect the rest of the way in order to average out your expected number of wins.

62-51 Final, UTEP wins.
UTEP is the best team that we have played this year, no doubt about that.

UNLV is far better

Their players looked tubby and lethargic on Gametracker, similar to the other teams we've played.

True (and I was at that game, how could I forget that).

Sorry folks this was an uninspired performance, coach injects no energy or urgency and players fail to step up. Give UTEP credit for a solid performance, but this should have been a dog fight and not a low energy roll over.

When you've got Caracter, Culpeper, and Moultrie, that's a good core right there. USM and Tulane don't have anyone like that

In truth, I don't see UTEP beating USF or A&M

Wow, how far McCoy has fallen. No minutes tonight. I sure wouldn't have guessed that at this point last year.

He's injured. Done for the year.

In El Paso, they'd beat them. In Collie Station or Tampa, no way. Neutral court, they'd probably lose each game 70% of the time.

What did this have to do w/the coach again? Uninspired performance for sure, but Doh didn't have much to do w/Will and Dia being awful

I believe McCoy is out with a torn ACL or major knee problem.

I am okay with giving Doherty the rest of the year and next to see what he can do.
