nice to see so many mentions of SMU. it is nice just to be in the mix at this point with this kind of talent. Terrance Simon (Adrian Peterson's cousin) had nice things to say about us

He is only 5' 7" and runs a 4.65 forty? I am a little underwelmed. Could someone help me understand why he is considered such a top prospect?

From the link above:

Another talented runner on hand was Chris Nutall (College Station, Texas/A&M Consolidated). Nutall caught everyone's attention by posting the day's best SPARQ rating (113.16). The 5-9, 175-pounder leaped a staggering 41.5 inches, clocked an impressive 4.2 pro agility shuttle and a 4.64 40. Considering Nutall drove from College Station to Dallas to take in SMU's junior day on Saturday, turned around and drove south to The Woodlands for the combine, his performance is even that more impressive. He is being recruited by TCU and Texas A&M along with SMU after rushing for nearly 1,400 yards as a junior.

Also, apparently very few people broke 4.6 on the 40. Perhaps there was a heavy headwind.

Gee...maybe they should have had everyone run the other way...with the wind.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I believe it was digitally timed which from what I understand usually results in slower times than all the self proclaimed 4.4 40 guys out there
