Memphis shot so well, both on 3s and free throws, if they shot their average on both, the game would be even. I really liked what I saw tonight from the team, we took on Memphis on their court and they played one of their best games of the year, shooting wise, yet they couldn't knock us out of the gym.

Memphis wins 76-63, Memphis shot an incredible percentage both from 3 point range and the FT line, oddly enough, this is one of SMU's best played game of the year, unfortunately they wasted it against a team that was unconcious. SMU cut a 24 lead down to 8 with about 5 minutes left, but were out of gas.

Good game Ponies, we can build on this. We have a national TV game against ECU on Tuesday, lets win out and go strong into the tourney!

Hell, I wanted to fire doherty till I read this, SMU is one of the top academic institutions in C-USA, we have snobby, rich fans, lets embrace it. Party on Doherty, and BTW that banner will need to come down when you vacate those wins.
