Another 7 - 5. Exactly like yours except NAVY.

Maybe 6 - 6 if the Stallion jinx rears it's ugly head, and we lose at Rice again.
May the forth be with us.

Mestengo, Texas Tech is running a brand new offense. There's a huge difference between the Air Raid and the Troy offense no matter how much Tuberville wants to say it's the same thing. So that will be a win.

East Carolina is also going to be running a brand new offense (Air Raid - much different than that run under Holtz). I don't think they'll have a great year next year, but I'd like to play them earlier in the year.

My predictions are the same as Mestengo's except that we will win at Texas Tech, at ECU, and lose at Navy. I have a feeling about that TCU game...and if we win that one, watch out. Still, though, I'm going with 9-3 for now. Let's see where we stand as far as injuries and such going into the season, though.

I may be crazy but this is what i see. I think our offense will be better this year even with the loss of ES and SM. I think the defense and special teams may drop off a little but will still be good enough to keep teams under the amount we will score.

May be wishful thinking, but whats wrong with optimism?

While I think the team is definitely improving, I'm worried about this years record.

1) Last year, we won a lot of close games by one or two special plays vs. dominating (like we did in the Bowl).

2) Teams will no longer be looking at SMU as an easy or expected win and will be better prepared.

Having said all that, I expect to beat Tech, TCU, and whoever we play against in the Conference Championship

6-6 with hopefully a bowl and a win there. Last year was a bit of an abberation because of late emergence of Padron, McNeal and Margus Hunt blocking place kicks. The offense will be better with Padron the whole year, hopefully, but very much missing a quality running back. The defense will be probably no better than last year because of lack of depth on the D line and because of the absence of Kennemer. No way to beat Navy up there.
