I thought I might go watch this game but just found out the ticket prices. Goodness

$150 - 100-200 levels
$100 - 300 level
$75 - 400 level
$40 - Tailgate Parking

If it was an SMU game I would pull the trigger, but not for this game. Shame they priced it so high. Think it might hurt the attendance of the casual fan some.
When will I start feeling stimulated??

They'll be giving out freebies or almost, to "sell-out" the stadium :!: :!:

My Dad went to Oregon State for 2 years, and then graduated from SMU after 2 years :!:
Great excuse to go to a college game at Jerry World for almost free. :D

GO BEAVERS :!: :!: :!:
May the forth be with us.

In an honest mement most frog fans will admit that thier campus is truely ugly. There are other reasons to pick a school - and I am sure that TCU has other attributes, although at this point I cant really think of any - but I guess you could say of all the football teams on the outside looking in, theirs is in the top 20% - Sort of like being among the tallest midgets.

I guess when your team gets beat 9 of the last 10 years to its cross-town rival, the best you can come up with is "campus" smack. Wow.

See ya in September, ponies. We'll be here in our horribly ugly campus making BCS bowl reservations...again.

If prices remain at that level, they will have priced themselves out of a really good crowd

Or like SMU and be one of the shortest midgets. However, that would go hand in hand with

the overall size of the SMU campus which is also so diminutive. And to make matters worse

the campus is totally landlocked, like Dallas, and can't get any bigger. Not to worry, you could

alway claim to be the smallest college campus in the nation.

TCU Campus - 325 acres, land-locked.

SMU University Park Campus - 210 acres, land-locked but expanding through purchases made by the school
SMU Taos Campus - 295 acres, not land-locked
SMU Plano Campus - 18.4 acres, land locked.

Total SMU Campus land area: 423.4 acres.

Corp-smack: Fail, once again. It's time to ban this buffoon.

Taos? Plano?

Defending an indefensible position is a lost cause. Let's try to confine

ourselves to our main campuses. The simple fact is that SMU is indeed

landlocked and TCU is readily expanding each year. However, there

are some good land values in the Sierra Desert if you are interested.

Taos, Plano, indeed....

Corp, you do realize that SMU's main campus is rapidly expanding as well, correct?

Corp has repeatedly shown a lack of ability to deal in reality. He comes on here to talk weak smack and adds nothing of value to this board.

SMU has added more acres then TCU in the last few yrs. Land locked we are not as long as we have rich alums. Campus envy is a terrible thing little froggies. Yours sucks. And that sound you hear behind you is us catching up to you in football about to lay one on you . At that point there will be nothing about TCU that is better then SMU -

Our campus is great. Only a pony would lay smack about what University Campus magazine labeled as "a gem of a campus" (March 2007).

And losing 39-14 is "catching up"? Excuse us while we burst out laughing. You've had one winning season in 15 years, your first bowl win in 25 years, and now all of a sudden you're catching up to TCU, who was ranked in the top 25 7 of the last 10 years and in the top 10 3 of the last 5. You have a very long way before catching up to us. Try winning your joke of a conference or maybe getting a vote in the AP poll first.

Oh, and we're better than you in just about every other sport as well, golf, track, tennis, baseball (snicker), even men's basketball.
