OT: UH and Robertson Stadium

Went to a Houston Dynamo match at Robertson Stadium, and wow, what a dump. I had this impression they built a new on-campus stadium, but that place made Rice Stadium look shiny and new. Never mind the, um, "neighborhood." I'd always heard about Cougar High, but figured hey, it's not far from the nicest parts of Houston and it can't be that bad. It was that bad. Wow. But at least the Dynamo played well.

They have to break ground on either a renovation or a new stadium by Jan. 1, 2011 or Sumlin's buyout (for teams trying to hire him away) decreases to next to nothing.

LOL. That was the first thing I said when a UH friend of mine told me those contract provisions.
