KC Niemchi ain't no sleeper! IMOStallion wrote:What he's saying is that the long term talent disparity between SMU and TCU is actually growing-I agree with that. SMU is looking for sleepers-TCU is recruiting lately in the upper half of the Big 12.

Really? Didn't know that since I was the first to alert Armen at Rivals that there was a report of an imminent commitment last nite and that he was No. 61 in Lone Star Recruiting Texas Top 100 and No. 58 in Aggie Yell Texas Top 100. Thanks.

Wow you are the man!
A sleeper is a player no one is recruiting and hasn't been recognized as at op recruit. Neimchi is not a sleeper.
Send me your address and I'll send my Rivals $5.95 a month to you. Because you know it all!
Give the coaches some credit for getting a great commit.

8:55 p.m. "good news looks imminent according to a story by Matt Malatesta of Rivals TheOldCoach.com"
9:20 p.m.: "btw No 61 on the Rivals Lone Star Recruiting Texas Top 100"

Do you think we care who heard 1st he was going to commit? The fact is he committed and it was the work of the coaches not you.Stallion wrote:8:55 p.m. "good news looks imminent according to a story by Matt Malatesta of Rivals TheOldCoach.com"

I believe the poster was pushing back on your point that SMU is recruiting sleepers rather than accusing you of calling Nlemchi a sleeper.Stallion wrote:Really? As you stated, in your inimitable style, you clearly know that Nlemchi is not a sleeper so does this change your opinion that SMU is recruiting sleepers? Does the point still hold because SMU is mostly recruiting sleepers and recruits like Nlemchi are among the exceptions?
Edit - fixed by changing "speaker" to "sleeper" in first sentence of 2nd paragraph.

Re: TexAgs.com 2011 Texas Top 110
yeah both of you know I corrected myself shortly after that post to clarify:
"I'll correct-SMU is looking for top talent too and has thrown its net out for a higher grade of recruit-so far with little success although SMU has a commitment from Yenga who might be considered by some a Top 125 or so player."
that's exactly what I thought-and now I think that we have two commitments who could be considered a consensus Texas Top 125 or better. I cited 3 posts last nite that prove I thought he was top recruit before he committed today and I shared that information with other fans. While I was online last nite I posted positive information on about 5 SMU prospects related to track performabes-that's 5 more than all other SMU fans have posted on this forum collectively. So what's the point? Anybody want to guess what my opinion will be after our next commitment-it will probably be a fair, factual analysis of the quality of the class. I've stated repeatedly that we are recruiting a higher class of recruits in this class and I dare you to find one post where I have PREDICTED doom and gloom in this recruiting class. Yes I have expectations that with a 8-5 record and Bowl Game win that we should begin to compete for higher level recruits. June Jones and Reinbold have said EXACTLY the same thing.

Might have been a good way to respond to the initial poster who asked about Nlemchi. I had forgotten about your post about that you quoted above, but I just do not see why you could not have referenced it in your response to the inquiry about Nlemchi.Stallion wrote:yeah both of you know I corrected myself shortly after that post to clarify:

Again, don't let someone else's pride problems bother you. If they do, you have pride problems.

I wish a certain [deleted] would go play with his little Twitter buddies-because he sure doesn't add anything of value here.
