People keep saying he is a 4-star. What is that based on? Stallion pointed out the number of 4 or 5 stars in Texas last year vs the ranking this guy has gotten within Texas this year and it would appear that unless there is an expansion in the number of 4/5 stars then he will just be a high 3 star?

Or, is the assumption that he has a senior year that is as good as his junior year and gets bumped up?

Congratulations on getting another excellent RB recruit. JJ likes to rotate 2 RBs when he can, so now you could have a combination like Fields and Nlemchi...both with multiple excellent offers and impressive stats.

Congratulations also on getting a recruit from the top 100 lists.

let me jump on here and clarify so I don't have to listen to someone claim I predicted he wouldn't be a 4 star. Technically, the Rivals system has not released their Top 100 rankings and won't for awhile. However, the Texas affiliate and A&M affiliate have and placed him at 61 and 58 respectively, Now Rivals ratings I guarantee you will look substantially different than the UT or A&M rankings, but last year they had 49 4 stars and/or 5 stars. So its a fair projection that he is somewhere on the cusp of being a 4 star. Also remember that some 4 and 5 stars are sprinkled in during the season so the initial list may have less than the 49 etsimate.

No its pretty much what I said when he read it on Rivals

"For what its worth-last year there were 49 4 or 5 Star players in Texas. He's on the cusp of 4 Star by many rankings. With another big year his stock my grow. "

Thought I had read it here not on Rivals, did not mean to cross-pollinate between the sites, cross the streams, whatever it is called.

I did not see your note above as a CYA at all.

Texas Football editor generally considering K.C. Nlemchi as possible Texas Football Super Team candidate
