Surprised that the Bengals took Shipley ahead of Gilyard.

I owe big John $20.00 bucks and some one a burger.
I guess that agent would not float the kid 20 grand for a car if he could not pay it.

I think he ended up in a great place. The Steelers have done well with receivers the last 10 years or so, and their head coach seems great. Can't wait to start watching Pittsburgh on Sundays to watch him contribute.

That's great news. Seeing him drafted ahead of Colt McCoy was even better!

Way to go Emmanuel!!!!!!! Congratulations...you earned it.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

I wonder if Phil had any input on Pittsburgh's decision to draft ES since Pitt and the Steelers share a complex. ES was a great player for Phil, and flourished under June. I have to believe that Phil would have nothing but positives to say about him. I'm sure the Steelers did plenty of homework on him, and his film speaks for itself, but it never hurts to have some extra help. Just a thought...
