The aggressive, 6-foot-4, 276-pound defensive tackle will be among the many Orange County recruits at the elite Nike Football Training Camp at USC's Howard Jones Field.
Last week, he earned a scholarship offer from Coach June Jones' SMU program.
Worthy also is attracting interest from several other strong programs. He lists SMU, TCU and UCLA as his three choices but also has medium interest in USC, Notre Dame, Hawaii, Iowa, Nebraska and Arkansas.
Notre Dame and Hawaii have expressed interest in visiting Worthy in May.
Despite sometimes being triple-teamed last season, he racked up 19 sacks and 137 tackles as the nose tackle in Whittier Christian's 3-4 front.
