Seemed fair. Not many kids have two game suspensions they have to explain. The coach was very positive. One wonders how much June's offense and previous NFL connections helped ES.

without June, i'm pretty confident ES wouldn't have been drafted that high or at all.

The coaches had much nicer things to say about Sanders....

Pittsburgh Steelers receivers coach Scottie Montgomery knows what he likes about third-round pick Emmanuel Sanders of SMU, even he uses a bit of language shorthand.

"Speed," Montgomery said when asked what stood out about Sanders on tape. "And once again, the thing that I said earlier about him being quick to the tuck, he has the ability to catch the ball and get it north and south. That's something that I value quite a bit.

"Two to three yards could win you a football game on this level and any level for that matter. He is a guy that I really feel good about, his quickness with the ball and his hands and finishing the football."
