Stallion, you made a ton of comments like this insinuating we'd never get any highly recruited rb's. Are you surprised at Fields and Nlemchi? Did you think we'd get guys of their quality, just that they're not what you'd call "highly recruited"?

I realize none of us has seen the incoming freshmen play, but I think people are wrong to overlook Kevin Pope. The more I hear about the guy, the more I think he might end up being our leading rusher as a true freshman.

Then again, he and Fields are true freshmen. They've never played a college defense. Maybe we should stick with the upperclassmen until one of the freshmen proves he can take over the job.

Won't Pope get a red shirt to make sure that he is 100% back from his knee injury. With the number of options at RB that we have, granted the options could be better, isn't it best to sit Pope for a year and let Fields be our primary option. But in general I agree that Pope has tons of potential.

I thought Zach Line performed pretty well last year, and he should be improved with experience. No rush to get Pope on the field before he's healthy
