this has to be as bad as it gets, right?

This is the best thing that could happen for the team. Chemistry is very important & it just wasn't
clicking last season with Paul in the lineup. His heart wasn't in it & we could all tell.
He was a total basket case on the court.
Very personable each time I visited with him. Very nice young man. I wish him the best.

I just heard a few things that really confirm this. Nice take. I was excited to see him come back strong, and heard he was rehabbing hard, but you may well be right

not neccessarily, they could just keep TK around

to be honest - I think this is a calculated move by Doh's part. Everyone on here crucifies the guy for taking the wrong PG when F. Harris wants to come to SMU; Doh says that F. Harris can't come because there aren't enough ships. Still, Doh realizes that Harris or someone else will probably be a better fit for the program than the pony-tailed guy and clears a ship by getting rid of a guy who obviously doesn't want to be here and didn't give maximum effort last year.

The real test is if he takes someone else or brings TK back for another year of sitting on the bench.

So...is Mike Walker now our PG again? Is the kid from FL supposed to come in and play 30 miuntes a game right away while playing with several other newcomers? With the way Doh treats his freshmen, this has to be a recipe for disaster. I have to believe this is rock bottom...but then again it's Matt Doherty. The lows get lower with every passing day. What an absolute circus he's running over there!

does anyone here ever talk to Doh? Seems like he gets a pass on commentary. True there are certain things he cant discuss, but is he that good a snake oil salesman that he'd be able to bullshxt his way through what's been going on?

I'm glad we have Pats, Vilde and Smith...dude from Florida dunno...McCoy may have had some issues but I don't think it's ever good to lose a player of that caliber. It's not like TK announced he's transferring.

mccoy has a girly in portland, and wanted to rehab there. Charmin is tougher

Honestly, papawasamustang has had mccoy figured out for over a year.

If we had the Paul McCoy of the freshman year, it would matter. But he was not good at all last year and didn't do much of anything.

Best of luck to him to find what he's looking for.
