Re: Another Positive Article From Richie Whittgood to see both the Observer & DMN breaking this story today. What's that, 96 hours after we first knew?
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie Whitt"McCoy, whose production slumped last year after theatening to transfer after his freshman season, wasn't exactly leading SMU out of the dark ages. But he was the Mustangs' best player."
I swear some people on this board declared McCoy wasn't even a top 4 player on SMUs roster ![]()
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie WhittMoodyMadmen - when was the last time you saw Richie Whitt at an SMU basketball game? I wouldn't use Whitt's words to justify your viewpoint.
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie WhittThis guy is a moron. If you read anything on the Cowboys it is very apparent. The radio show (if it's still on ESPN) was truly awful.
He's all about shock value - and has no substance for anything.
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie WhittWhitt is truly desperate for a story when he writes about smu.
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie Whitt
Oh I'm not saying Whitt isn't a Grade A doucher because he is, I'm just saying its comicial if you don't think McCoy was one of the 4 best players on that Mustang squad last year.
Re: Another Positive Article From Richie WhittMcCoy played more shooting guard last year than point guard.
Has Richie Whitt ever covered an SMU game? In ANY sport?

Re: Another Positive Article From Richie WhittI agree with that top 4. McCoy has the potential, and certainly showed it his freshman year, that he could be possibly better than anyone in that 4. But last season he wasn't. Still a big loss from the standpoint that we all hoped he would return to freshman year form. But the loss of soph year McCoy is not a big one.
