Could SMU possibly get another early commitment from a highly recruited tight end? Rivals reports that Richardson (Texas) Berkner standout Jason Lamb plans to camp at SMU this summer
as well as at A$M, Baylor, and possibly Colorado. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound tight end caught 11 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns and was named first-team all-area this past year. Lamb, who runs a 4.8-forty, also played defensive end as a junior. In the weight room, he has a bench max of 255 pounds and a squat max of 355 pounds. Lamb is receiving interest from Texas A&M, Iowa, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Maryland and Colorado and does not have any favorites at this time.
