It is not clear to me if there is a grandfather clause on attendance but I know the subject has been bandied about.

In any case, there could be motivation for top MAC teams to look to CUSA. That would be a good thing.

2003 was the last year that the grandfather clause had an effect. Next year it's 15000 butts in seats, torn tickets, etc. That's why for us, the ability of the opponant to generate additional attendance is very important.
