Sucks. We need one of the two Tyler recruits to step up.
Back off Warchild seriously.

You are correct, more administrators (ex-marine drill instructors), not necessarily more tutors. Not sure I would ban early morning practices, it keeps them off of Greenville after 12:00.

Why do you want early practices banned?

I like Wilkerson's attitude here. Sounds like he has realized the error of his ways, and he sounds genuine in his intent to do better when he gets back. It's a tough thing to publicly discuss something like this, and I'm betting that this experience will make him a better man in the long run. I bet we see a new level of maturity from him in January, on the field and in the classroom.
Good luck, Terrance — PonyFans are pulling for you, and look forward to seeing you back on the field in the spring.

this is no good...hopefully another young receiver will step up "padron style" and fill his shoes.

Thats a blow to the WR corps and we really need the experience out there, especially as any Freshman WR's will have a tough time getting ready for a tough schedule early this year. As far as the Tyler guys, they still have to get in to SMU before they can play.

Bennett learned that the LEC was useless and it was up to his staff to keep kids on their studies. I thought Jones had already learned this? How long is this going to go on before people figure out that there need to be changes to the LEC?
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

According to another thread, they are already in.

Get up, go to class and take note.
Not
Get up, go to class, make roll call and walk out.

I can not say that that is the problem with this player but some of these guys need to get real... This is SMU and effort in not an option. Nor a Veer or wing T... get it :-)

We have a ton of promising receivers on the team so I am sure one of them can step in and do a very good job.

Hope you're right. Heard there were some other guys who were in the process of appeals. Any word on them?

I was going to ask how UT handled these academic issues but then realized that would be comparing appeals and oranges.
