Re: (Updated) 2011 Texas Aggregate Recruiting Rankings
What are the recent yearly per-centages of this many commited by mid June for a next years' class? This seems like a real trend that will change recruiting in many ways.....so thats why elementary and middle schoolers are being tracked nowadays.
Re: (Updated) 2011 Texas Aggregate Recruiting RankingsI bet its gone up about 5% a year for the last 10 years or so. This is the most I remeber.

Re: (Updated) 2011 Texas Aggregate Recruiting RankingsAmazing stat-about 55 out of 70 Texas Top 100 have committed to schools from the remaining Big 12 schools and most of the rest have committed to TCU(6), Houston(2), Nebraska(2). SMU(1) Rice(1). Only 1 has committed to an SEC-LSU(1). Only 2 more have committed to teams outside Texas or the Big 12-Stanford(1) and Purdue(1).The Big 12 has been popular with Texas recruits-I still think keeping the SEC out of Texas recruiting is Reason No. 1 why this deal fell through. Anybody seen Arkansas lately?
BTW Texas A&M is a real threat to strike out with the Texas Top 25 "With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
