Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine that just came out has TCU ranked
higher than the Texas Longhorns in the pre-season poll? How could a little private
church school with a budget dwarfed by the Longhorns be ahead of them in the poll?

He just said that they have TCU ranked as the best team in the state, that is always an argument for putting a team's qb on the cover.

A) The Aggie QB is pretty good. He'll play in the NFL.

B) This shows how bad that magazine is. TCU is nowhere near as good as Texas, especially after losing Jerry Hughes, Daryl Washington, etc. I realize they want to be edgy and out on a limb, but this is stupidity for the sake of making people talk about it. Kudos to them — it's working. But it's still stupid.

Texas would beat TCU by 2 scores minimum if they played each other this coming season...both sides being key personnel injury free. Texas' depth too much. Texas' 3rd string would beat TCU's 2nd string convincingly.
