on a serious note...what do the Big 10 and Big XII call themselves once these changes occur?

Big XII becomes the Great Plains Conference?

Big 10 the Big North?

Suppose they can negotiate a trade of names? That will confuse people for years to come...depending on how long it lasts.

I like the Mack 10 name the best.

On a serious note.. some have discussed resurrecting the old Southwest Conference name.
I don't think that will happen. From what I hear, it will remain the Big 12.
The Big Ten will remain the Big Ten and the Pac 10 will remain the Pac 10.
