:?:

Can someone tell me how many Division I-A football schools do not, like SMU, have a scholarship baseball team?

And how many Division I-A football teams lack a track program?

plenty. Tulsa and UNT, just to name a couple "in the neighborhood"

Besides the affordability issue, SMU has the problem of where to play. No room on campus for basseball/softball complex even if the money was there.

I'd personally rather have baseball/softball than some of our other sports, but I don't see it happening for us.
